The Cream City Youth Chorale is the next iconic institution upholding Milwaukee’s reputation for excellence in the arts.

Inspired by the young artists of Milwaukee, Artistic Director Michael Werni, and faculty Ellen Shuler, Zachary Beeksma, and Trisha Ours want to give our children opportunities to fully develop as artists and singers.
Children begin to experience different art forms from the time they are born. They listen and duplicate sounds, they discover dance through movement, they learn to create things with their hands just with the food on their plate!
We encourage them to continue exploring these mediums, but rather than compartmentalizing them, we unite them as they sing.
We experience music from Chant to Renaissance to Baroque and Classical, from Folk Songs around the globe to Pop and Broadway, and Spirituals and Gospel Music.
